Top 10 US telecom operator selects IQGeo for fiber planning

Cambridge, 08 January 2024 - IQGeo (AIM: IQG), a developer of geospatial software that is “Building better networks” for telecom and utility operators, today announced that IQGeo’s fiber planning and design software was selected by a top 10 US telecom and fiber operator as part of a first phase technology deployment. The initial 3-year contract for this new customer has a total value of over $2.5M that includes recurring revenue, licenses, hosting and professional services.

This new client has aggressive broadband expansion ambitions, with millions of existing customers and plans for fiber rollout to pass millions more homes and businesses in the coming years. IQGeo’s Comsof Fiber software will be used to automate their planning and design process to accelerate fiber deployments and time-to-revenue. The project will also include an initial deployment of IQGeo’s Network Revenue Optimizer software to help streamline the quoting process for new fibre connections, helping to fully monetize their fiber network.
