Experienced global HR leader to drive IQGeo’s continued growth and organizational evolution

Cambridge, 18 June 2026 — IQGeo, a developer of AI-powered geospatial software that is paving the way for autonomous networks, has appointed Sophie Gelsthorpe as Chief Human Resources Officer. Gelsthorpe will focus on strengthening the organization as the company enters its next stage of growth.

With more than 20 years of experience leading people and culture strategies for global technology companies, Gelsthorpe specializes in aligning talent with commercial priorities in fast-evolving business environments. Prior to joining IQGeo, she held Executive HR leadership roles at OpenTable, KAYAK and Sitecore, where she led international teams through periods of rapid transformation.

“How a company grows is just as important as how fast it grows, especially in tech, where the market innovates so quickly” said Gelsthorpe. “My role will be to ensure colleagues have the leadership and development opportunities to be able to pivot in the new AI landscape while keeping momentum toward our shared vision.”

“IQGeo is an ambitious and evolving organization, an environment Sophie has a lot of experience with” said Noel Goggin, Executive Chairman at IQGeo. “Her appointment comes at a time when we’re thinking purposefully about how to further prepare and develop the business for our next phase.”

Gelsthorpe’s arrival further strengthens IQGeo’s executive leadership team as the company continues to invest in innovation, customer success and operational excellence.
