IQGeo To Preview Unified Fieldworker App at Fiber Connect 2026

Prototype app integrates visual AI and workflow management directly with the network digital twin

Cambridge, 14 May 2026 — IQGeo, a developer of AI-powered geospatial software that is paving the way for autonomous networks, today announced it is working on an app that will unify the mobile experience for field workers by integrating its NetLux AI, Workflow Manager and Network Manager Telecom products. A demo of the prototype app, which will be released later this year, will be previewed at the Fiber Connect conference in Orlando, Florida, from May 17-20, 2026.

Deeper integration of three of IQGeo’s flagship products will enable fieldworkers to access the information they need for work execution, validate work with visual AI and automatically trigger follow-up action in a single environment. The app will be the first in the industry to integrate visual AI and workflow management with the digital network twin, which historically has always remained siloed from the tools fieldworkers use in their day-to-day operations.

The app’s development marks a crucial milestone for telecom operators on their journey toward autonomous networks. Accurate data is the bedrock of reliable, large-scale automation, and ensuring data accuracy begins in the field, where work on network infrastructure is recorded by field engineers and updated in the system of record. Ensuring data capture, validation and updates are processed within a single system at the point of work execution is vital to maintaining trust in the digital network twin.

Crucially, the app will leverage NetLux AI, launched by IQGeo in 2025, which uses visual AI technology to validate that fieldwork is executed right first time to increase build and repair quality, and avoid rework. NetLux AI also automates the work close-out process to enable faster contractor payments. The product is already in use at leading operators to enable them to activate connections faster and restore connections following outages sooner.

James Wheatley, Head of Product Management at IQGeo, said: “The unified app will be a real automation driver for telecom operators. By providing fieldworkers with a single tool to validate fieldwork, update their network records and trigger next actions in a closed loop, operators can build a solid foundation for agentification.”

Over time, IQGeo plans various enhancements to the app. Among the first will be enabling back-office management to configure workflows for fieldworkers using natural language to enable customers to easily extend the app to a wide variety of workflows. This feature will be closely followed by multimodal field input, such as voice-to-text and video capture.

The app preview will be available for exclusive preview for the duration of the Fiber Connect conference at Proof-of-Concept Kiosk #2 in Fiber Alley.
