IQGeo was launched on January 1, 2019, building on the foundation of our original geospatial software, myWorld, developed by Ubisense. Since then, we’ve gone from strength to strength. Our product portfolio has expanded dramatically to serve the evolving needs of telecom and utility operators, including the acquisition of OSPInsight in 2020 and Comsof in 2022.
In late 2024 IQGeo was acquired by KKR and Kestrel Partners, who are making significant investments to further accelerate our growth. This momentum is reflected in our latest acquisition of Deepomatic in 2025. The AI-powered computer vision technology from Deepomatic marks the beginning of a new technology chapter for IQGeo and our customers as we integrate, embed and agentify our network management solutions to create intelligent digital twins—the foundation for predictive, automation and self-managing networks.
Thanks to our dedicated and talented team around the world, the IQGeo software portfolio and business has grown substantially since our launch in 2019. We have evolved from a bold challenger to a recognized industry leader and technology innovator, with even greater innovation on the horizon.
In May 2022 we announced IQGeo’s decarbonization initiative to document and manage our own carbon emissions across our global operations. We did this by embarking on a project with Carbon Footprint Ltd. to measure our carbon footprint and offset our carbon production.
