The Fiber Broadband Association (FBA) is a national association to connect every home, business, and community in the Americas with high-speed fiber broadband. They believe fiber will transform the world like no other technology has since electricity. Their mission is to accelerate the deployment of fiber broadband networks to ensure digital equity and enable every community to leverage economic and societal benefits that only fiber can deliver. The association consists of industry experts from vast backgrounds to lead and shape the future of fiber.

Formerly known as the Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) Council Europe, the industry association was created in 2004 to ensure that full fiber-based connectivity is available throughout Europe. Their membership includes over 150 companies, including investors, vendors, and operators, who work together to offer expert advice to policymakers and regulators. The Fiber Council Europe supports this mission through various activities, including supporting and reporting on studies, creating networking platforms, distributing newsletters, and hosting the annual FTTH Conference.

IQGeo's continued membership is critical in maximizing connections and accelerating FTTH operations across the European Union. Our leadership team collaborates closely with the council to provide valuable insights by curating knowledge from tried-and-tested practices used by fellow members deploying large-scale FTTH networks.

The Society for Broadband Professionals (SCTE®) is a Learned Society to raise the standard of broadband engineering in the telecommunications industry. Founded in 1945, the SCTE® is a non-profit organization run by an Executive Committee of elected volunteers holding three-year terms. Although the SCTE® formed in the United Kingdom, the organization has members worldwide, including in the US, Europe, and the Benelux Union.
