Former EY executive brings deep industry experience across telecom and utility networks
Cambridge, 4 September 2025 — IQGeo, a developer of AI-powered geospatial software that is “Building Better Networks” for telecom and utility operators, has appointed Chris Cirillo as Senior Vice President of Global Services Delivery. Cirillo will lead IQGeo’s global delivery organization with a focus on simplifying software deployment and taking a customer-centred approach to every project.
Cirillo brings three decades of international experience delivering digital transformation across complex, regulated environments. He has led strategic programs for telecom and utility operators including AT&T, PG&E and BT Openreach, with responsibility spanning the Americas, Southeast Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Having lived in the United States, Venezuela and the UAE, he combines deep network management expertise with a global perspective. In his most recent role, Cirillo was responsible for core EY power and utilities accounts on the US West Coast, delivering smart meter, schedule and dispatch, and digital experience programs.
“Joining IQGeo at this stage in its growth is a fantastic opportunity” said Cirillo. “Success in the network management space means taking a future-focused approach that captures the long-term goals of telecom and utility operators and works backwards to define detailed project requirements. With the recent addition of Deepomatic’s AI software, we are uniquely positioned to help our customers respond faster, optimise resources and maximise ROI as they modernize their networks.”
IQGeo’s delivery team plays a critical role in deploying its geospatial network management software within mission-critical environments. Under Cirillo’s leadership, the team will focus on accelerating project delivery timetables so customers can quickly realize the returns they need for their business.
“Chris brings the kind of execution mindset that defines IQGeo,” said Richard Petti, CEO at IQGeo. “Our customers operate some of the most complex networks in the world, and he knows what it takes to deliver real results in those environments. His practical focus will provide tremendous value to our customers and partners.”
Cirillo’s appointment comes as IQGeo expands its global delivery footprint to meet growing customer demand in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Learn more about how IQGeo supports telecom and utility operators across the globe.
