Asset Inspection Agent

The Asset Inspection Agent analyzes field photos to create structured, searchable records for network assets. It extracts equipment details, assesses condition, identifies asset type and links findings to the system of record, turning unstructured photo libraries into trusted, usable intelligence. 

Yes. The agent can process historical photo libraries from day one, with no disruption to current field operations. Operators commonly use it to unlock value from years of accumulated field images that are currently unstructured and unsearchable. 

The agent is trained on telecom and utility infrastructure including poles, cabinets, fiber splice trays, aerial and underground equipment, substations, transformers and overhead line infrastructure. It can be configured to handle additional asset types using prompts and example photos. 

Typical outputs include asset type classification, condition assessment, equipment make and model, visible serial numbers and labels, compliance status and photo quality flags. Outputs are structured and typed, ready to link to asset records in the system of record.  

It automates the photo review and data extraction element of inspection, removing the need for manual back-office review. It does not replace physical inspection where a technician's physical presence is required, but it dramatically reduces the cost and time of processing and validating photographic evidence.
