IQGeo expands APAC operations with new Kuala Lumpur team and office

Cambridge, 28 February 2024 - IQGeo (AIM: IQG), a developer of geospatial software that is “Building better networks” for telecom and utility operators, today announced that it has opened a new office with a dedicated team in Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia to expand its business operations in the Asia Pacific region (APAC).

Complementing IQGeo’s existing office in Japan, the new KL team will focus on developing a network of partners to sell and support its award winning network management software for telecom and utility operators.

The new office in KL provides a strategic geographic location to develop a partner ecosystem in SE Asia and India, and to support IQGeo’s existing partnerships in Australia and New Zealand. To operate the office and develop new partner channels in the region, IQGeo recruited two experienced professionals with industry and GIS expertise. Today there are major governmental and private investments happening across APAC for Fiber network deployments and electric grid modernization, making it an ideal time to launch IQGeo’s SE Asian expansion initiative.

SE Asia is a largely untapped region for IQGeo with enormous potential and I’m excited to have the team in place in KL to build on the success we’ve already created in Japan, North America, and Europe.”
