Does Deepomatic Lens work offline?

As of today, Deepomatic Lens can validate the conformity of field photos offline (framing, lighting, detection of blur, context). This allows our clients to get trustworthy field documentation, regardless of the connectivity conditions of field crews. As for checkpoints related to job conformity, they will progressively be available offline from late 2025. 

How does Deepomatic Lens guarantee the reliability of field photos?

Our system effectively prevents the abuse of duplicate photo uploads through several possible measures: 

  • Real-time detection: It immediately identifies if the same photo is uploaded more than once for a single work order.
  • Batch analysis: We also check large data sets, ensuring no duplication across multiple work orders.
  • Advanced fraud detection: The system can recognize if a photo is taken of another smartphone screen or a printed image, preventing misuse.
  • Direct upload requirement: It mandates that photos be uploaded directly from the field worker’s smartphone camera, blocking access to previously stored images in the smartphone library. 

 

In addition, to ensure that technicians submit photos of the correct assets, we can collect the geolocation of the asset along with the asset ID and crosscheck that they match with the expected data value.
