What is the future of FTTH?

IQGeo's approach is to future-proof these systems through a flexible, configurable approach that lets our customers define their preferred architectures to match what is being built, then change it themselves as needed going forward.

How does the solution integration between route plan, construction progress reporting to the as build and close out project phases?

IQGeo's Network Manager has an integrated and digital approach to seamlessly connect workflows from planning to network digital twin to construction, so that you can report on progress and close out project phases with documentation and as-built updates, transitioning seamlessly to operations and maintenance.

What tips could you give to minimize errors overall within team collaboration?

By reducing manual entry and swivel chair work, the integrated digital approach helps minimize errors instantly. We also demonstrated in the webinar how this approach is more inclusive to field workers with an easy-to-use app to get input from the people that are the most helpful in minimizing errors.

What is the compatibility of this program with all other ticket/task management platforms currently in use for larger construction/utility owners in the industry? Example; Utilisphere/Irth?
In the webinar you may have noticed that tickets have a column for “Source System”. IQGeo’s open source approach gives customer options to import and connect through API to other platforms to start a project or ticket, or provide updates further along in the process.
Does IQGeo allow you to import CAD, PDF designs or construction prints?

Depending on customer requirements we can include links to these files, import them or produce them. At the same time, we want to start to minimize the reliance on unorganized, unstructured files and promote accessing a database and using apps that are easy to access and use.

Can design information be archived for reference in the future?

Yes, IQGeo's solution provide the option to archive design information as well as project and tickets, accessible for reference in the future.

How do you manage revisions to designs once construction has started?

IQGeo includes redlining options as well as a more structured approach to capturing field data early or late in the process, taking a integrated digital approach to documentation.

Is it possible to import shape files or information from GIS programs like ESRI to add power, water, and other utilities to project plans?

Yes, IQGeo's solution is fully integrated with new and old ESRI versions to add power and other utility data, including connections to ArcGISonline and ESRI partner applications. This is the case with other vendors as well such as GE Smallworld and Synchronoss.

Is it possible to import address information from excel or CSV files in bulk? And how does IQGeo handle addresses with close to identical coordinates?

IQGeo has many customers that do this, and we support however you need to model customers and addresses. You can import information from various sources including CSV in bulk, and the object can be a simple point feature or use our hierarchical approach to create relationships between features for objects close to each other or concepts like MDUs.
