IQGeo joins Alltricity Network to accelerate North American grid modernization

New partnership brings real-time geospatial intelligence to field operations amid mounting resilience and infrastructure challenges

Cambridge, 10 June 2025 — IQGeo, a developer of geospatial software that is “Building Better Networks” for telecom and utility operators, has joined the Alltricity Network, an alliance of forward-thinking technology providers dedicated to transforming North America’s electric and gas grids in the face of mounting infrastructure complexities, climate change and energy transition pressures.

The partnership brings IQGeo’s Adaptive Grid solution to the Alltricity Network ecosystem, with real-time geospatial intelligence tailored for utility field operations across the network lifecycle. The Adaptive Grid solution enhances situational awareness by embedding live network data into both office and field workflows, enabling operators to reduce outages, accelerate response times and improve the resilience of critical infrastructure.

“Utilities can no longer afford to operate with yesterday’s legacy tools as they look to integrate distributed energy resources,” said Adrian McNulty, Vice President of Utility Solutions at IQGeo. “Joining the Alltricity Network expands the reach of our software with real-time operational intelligence for utility teams in the field, where it’s needed most.”

IQGeo’s software provides ‘native mobility’ by continuously updating a shared view of the grid that connects engineering, operations and maintenance teams. By integrating geospatial data directly with operational tools, IQGeo empowers utility network operators to make faster, more informed decisions across all areas of the business.

“Alltricity Network members are selected for their ability to solve practical challenges facing today’s electric utilities,” said Ken Wilmot, Executive Director of the Alltricity Network. “IQGeo’s real-time geospatial capabilities add a critical dimension to our ecosystem, directly improving the efficiency and effectiveness of field maintenance, inspection and response.”

IQGeo joins a growing cohort of Alltricity Network members committed to equipping utilities with future-ready technologies. The collaboration reflects a broader industry shift away from siloed legacy systems toward integrated digital platforms that can support the evolving demands of grid management, incident response and regulatory compliance.
